About

Hi, thanks for stopping by, my name is Jesubukunmi, and I am a Nigerian resident in Lagos. I know calling myself a “Yoruba Nigerian” seems tacky and a little tribalistic, but that is the exact spot I want you in right now. I intend to take you on a series of mind travels of culture, art and politics amongst others  from the perspective of a youthful Nigerian who was M.I.A (Missing In Action) in the 1st and 2nd republic while still trying to understand this current state. how can i as a youth be stripped of my identity and still be called lazy, and a lush (an incongruous juxtaposition) …see Yawa oo! No I am a belligerent church – prostitute (for now) trying to see life from an aberrant perspective. So WELCOME ON BOARD.
